Cakes and Cookies Program

Are you looking for the PERFECT way to send that special student of yours living on campus a surprise during the school year? Maybe you want to wish them a “Happy Birthday”, “Good Luck” on their first final, “Congrats” on excellent grades, send them “Hugs & Kisses” from home…or something else? Well, we have great news for you!

Throughout the year, cakes and cookies are available to order for direct delivery to any student living on campus! This service, provided by RHA in conjunction with WMU Dining Services, provides your student with a sweet treat for any sort of special occasion deserving of a celebration…hence, the name Celebration WMU!

How does it work? You send us the order form and check as described below; we process the order form with Dining Services, pick up the cake/cookie and deliver it directly to the student’s residence hall on any Thursday while classes are in session during the school year…where they can pick it up as a package from the front desk!! The treats are decorated special, just for the student in mind, by a dedicated baker from Dining Services. As mentioned above, we currently have two options to choose from:

1. A deliciously homemade two-layer 9-inch cake, with a frosting filling, specially decorated for your student with a personal greeting of your choice!
2. A scrumptious GIANT 9-inch chocolate chip cookie, freshly baked, decorated with frosting, also including a personal greeting of your choice!

The cakes and cookies serve up to 10 people. A card with text of your creation is also sent with each order! Simply download and fill out the order form, and send it to the address on the form with a check made payable to “Western Michigan University”. Please include your student’s full name on the memo line of your check!

• Orders MUST be received AT LEAST 2 WEEKS prior to the date of delivery.
• Orders MUST be cancelled 4 WEEKS in advance in order to receive a refund.
• Postmark recommendation: 3 WEEKS prior to the date of delivery.
